ESC has succcefully undertaken over the last 5 years a number of steel structure projects. The client's requirements were met or exceeded in all aspects.
ESC was awarded the scope of work for fabricating and supplying the entire steel structure for the expansion of the South Pacific Brewery located in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
The selected coating specification was two layers of Akzo Nobel International Paint with a dry film thickness of 175µm. Surface preparation control strictly as accordance with ISO 8501 Sa2.5 standard and dry film thickness control as accordance with SSPC PA2 standard.
Quality Controls included 100% visual inspection, ultrasonic tested on fully penetrated weld seam, and 100% dimensional inspection. All heat numbers were traceable on each item.
All materials were stacked properly according to procedure for safety and to avoid damages to the material. Only flat surface were allowed to stack the finished product. Material inside the shipping containers were secured with cord to protect the product from damage during shipping.
The materials were successfully delivered and assembled without any issues.
